About us

Building a healthier Southern Arizona, together.

Even before TMC opened its doors in 1944, the people of Southern Arizona proudly supported their community hospital as they worked together towards a healthier tomorrow.

As a nonprofit and locally governed regional health system, TMC Health is committed addressing unmet community needs. By investing in underserved areas and offering collaborative outreach programs, TMC Health can effectively support individuals and families across Southern Arizona.

To carry this legacy of community care forward, the TMC Health Foundation was established in 1984 to formalize philanthropic efforts in support of TMC's mission. Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors, the Foundation helps to expand health care access and improve quality of life for all who call Southern Arizona home.
