슈롭셔 서클은 1967년부터 1992년 은퇴할 때까지 TMC 회장을 역임한 도널드 슈롭셔(Donald Shropshire)의 유산을 기리기 위해 마련되었습니다. 그의 선견지명이 있는 리더십 아래 TMC는 이 지역에서 가장 중요한 의료 서비스 제공자 중 하나로 성장했으며, 그의 공헌은 병원과 지역 사회에 지울 수 없는 흔적을 남겼습니다.
Celebrating the legacy of Donald Shropshire
Donald G. Shropshire was a visionary, a pioneer and a leader who exemplified the values of compassion and integrity throughout his tenure as CEO of Tucson Medical Center from 1967 to 1992. During his 25 years of leadership, TMC expanded from 250 beds to 615 grew its staff from 1,300 to 3,000, establishing TMC as one of the region's foremost health care providers.
After retiring from TMC, Shropshire remained dedicated to his adopted home, continuing to serve the Tucson community—with his well-known gentleman's charm and heartfelt passion.
To honor the indelible mark he left, The Shropshire Circles recognize and celebrate individuals that support TMC Health's mission of delivering care with compassion. Like him, these donors are pioneers—committed to shaping the future of health care across Southern Arizona and carrying forward his vision of giving back to the community.
